Qualifications Include Preferred experience in hotel maintenance, construction, electrical, plumbing, or painting. Perform any other job related duties as assigned.Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.Responds in a courteous manner to guest questions, complaints and requests.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Perform other duties and handle projects as assigned by supervisors.Heavy interaction with all departments of the hotel. ![]() Completing preventive maintenance checklists and other maintenance records.Maintaining tools, work spaces and equipment.Utilizing basic hand and power tools required for general maintenance.Checks and makes minor repairs on general plumbing systems, and fixtures such as pipe lines, toilets and sinks.Does some basic painting and finishing of furniture and structure.Checks electrical systems such as refrigeration controls, television sets, and lighting systems, and makes minor repairs.Handling all in-house repairs in regards to removing and replacing bathroom tile, painting, repairing wallboard, wall vinyl, carpentry,.Making systematic checks on all guest room electrical appliances, circuits being able to repair most in-room.Locates and corrects in-room heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) malfunctions, and adjusting HVAC units to include systems control.Prioritize work orders through urgent requests, respond to guest room calls as required.Ensure exterior cleanliness of grounds.Serve as on-call maintenance providing evening, weekends and holiday emergency service.Perform maintenance inspections and repairs on vacant rooms to ensure proper operating conditions and appearance.Maintain accurate inventory control of tools, equipment and supplies.Maintain maintenance shop and storage rooms in an orderly fashion and in compliance with safety regulations.Perform all aspects of property maintenance, including preventative, corrective, deferred and emergency maintenance.Must enjoy working with employee’s at the property and take on all tasks with a friendly “can-do” attitude.Must be able to complete work order forms, take direction, be organized and have the ability to effectively communicate with supervisor.Performs general guest room & commercial area maintenance and repairs on HVAC plumbing and electrical equipment, completes preventive maintenance checklists and other maintenance reports. Include but are not limited to ensuring that the property is maintained in the best possible condition at all times with the least amount of inconvenience to guests and employees. As well as keeping the grounds, throwing out trash.You also perform general upkeep on the property.Install new equipment or repair old equipment, such as furnaces, electrical circuits or outlets, sinks, and toilet. ![]()
